adventures in life, travel, and food
Greetings!I actually did wonder how you were going to compare the Celtic Beltane and Diwali with culniary arts but needless to say, your presentation covered it all! I have an Indian ancestry from my mother's side, we aren't Hindus but all Indians do know Diwali extrememly well. The black design on that 3-tiered stand contributed a lot to the "hindu Diwali" element and the rice pudding with blackberries! Both Hindus and Indians are incomplete without rice. That lantern was especially ingenious! So were the crafty little chocolate shells!Great presentations with the cookies, flowers, cakes and gingerbread too. Hope the project was successful. It was an amazing peice of art.Tsayelle.
Thanks Tsayelle! I think the presentation went pretty well! (: I'm glad you liked it! I'll post a recipe for the rice pudding when I get a chance, my family really liked it ( : Thanks again for your comment!Lauren
